Loire Valley and Atlantic Loire
One of the hearts of France, world-wide known by its châteaux
and bathed by the Loire river. Throughout the fluvial
channel, from east to west, are the more famous towns
and castles. Are specially beautiful châteaux of
Chambord, Cheverny and Chenonceaux as well as the cities
of Angers - here it is the famous Apocalypse carpet- and
Blois.
The car lovers have an inescapable appointment in the
city of Le Mans and its legendary circuit. In Orléans,
the city of Joan of Arc, and Chartres, to the north of
the region, are two of the most imposing cathedrals of
France. At the Atlantic coast ends the Loire river, passing
before by the city of Nantes, long ago a powerful city
by the marine commerce. In St-Nazaire, an important port
of the French west, it´s all the magic of the transatlantic,
with a museum dedicated to them.
