George
Pompidou Centre
The Pompidou Centre is a gigantic steel and glass, five
floors building, recognized by its metallicstructures,
elevators and mechanical stairs transparencies. It’s
one of the most spectacular cultural centres of the world
and one of the greatest by its collection of contemporary
art. Officially inaugurated in 1977 by the president Georges
Pompidou, it includes spaces dedicated to the music experimentation
and industrial design, temporary exhibition rooms, coffees,
a boutique and a complete public library.
